What Is Raptor Software Maintenance?
When you purchase Raptor software, you’re guaranteed to receive two major software releases plus a year of standard product support. Your license for the software is perpetual, but you’ll need to purchase annual maintenance to access software releases and support after that first year. (Curious about software maintenance? 1. Enjoy Raptor 2024a’s new features and enhancements.
If you’ve purchased Raptor software in the last year or you’ve already updated your annual subscription, these new features are ready for you to download at the click of a button. Here’s what you can expect in the latest update.
Courtesy of our new relationship with John Deere, we’re now providing support for the John Deere GCM56-2402 and M2-502 ECUs. Enjoy the flexibility of Raptor with the rugged reliability of John Deere—and if you run into a challenge, we’re here to answer the call.
Raptor-Safe, our latest suite of tools supporting safe development and verification, also has a featured role in this update. Receive enhanced support for Raptor-Safe Stack Check on the RCM112 as well as other targets. Plus, Raptor-Safe Time Check has now been added to the RCM112. Stop errors before they grow into major problems that eat into your timeline and budget.
Last but certainly not least, we’re also adding in more support for Protected Model Reference, so you can rest easy knowing you’re safeguarding your intellectual property and preventing unnecessary bugs.
2. Focus on compliance and industry standards.
Nothing’s more important than safety and security. You know you can count on us for hardware and software that helps you comply with ISO26262 and ISO 21434. Now with the latest 2024a update, we’re also providing support for SAE J1939-22 and J1939-91C. Need gateway support between the J1939-21 and J1939-22 protocols? We’ve got you covered.
We’ll also be providing support for AUTOSAR E2E (End-to-End) to help you address safety and security issues, so you can ensure data integrity, authenticity, and error detection in your systems.
3. Continue to receive technical support.
