Software Development Student Intern/Co-Operative
Available exclusively to university students, our paid intern/co-op program offers the opportunity to support what’s learned in the classroom with some real, hands-on experience that qualifies for school credit.

About the Internship/Co-Op
The development intern will work with our senior development team at our headquarters in Ann Arbor on a variety of projects, including:
- Debugging and fixing software tools
- Documenting new processes and updating existing ones
- Running and documenting hardware tests
- Updating performance on a hardware test rig and wiring new hardware
- Creating wiring harnesses used to debug hardware and software issues
To qualify for an entry-level internship/co-op position, candidates should have:
- Completed sophomore year curriculum in an accredited engineering program, majoring in computer or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of programming with C++ and C# languages
- Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink within MATLAB
- Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently on assigned tasks
- Problem-solving skills to help debug and solve software tool issues
- Willingness to learn and explore new software and hardware tools
To qualify for an advanced internship/co-op position, candidates should have:
- Completed junior or senior year curriculum in an accredited engineering program, majoring in computer or electrical engineering
- Proficiency programming with C++ and C# languages
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink within MATLAB
- Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently on assigned tasks
- Solid problem-solving skills to help debug and solve software tool issues
- Eagerness to learn and explore new software and hardware tools
